Knox County Board to consider approval of vehicle purchases, and construction projects

On Wednesday night the Knox County board will consider the approval of several vehicles for the county Nursing Home and the Sheriff’s Department.

Lombard Principal hired as Stark County schools’ superintendent

Stark County School District 100 approved the hiring of a new superintendent Monday night and it happened to be the current principal of Lombard Middle School.

Knoxville City Council is living within their means

A regular city council meeting for the City of Knoxville was held Monday night at the Knoxville Police Station. 

Alderman reject gaming terminal license fee

Galesburg City Council enacted some fee adjustments along with a new fee for towing licenses but not one for gaming terminals.

Wilder recommends lowest tax rate in ten years

At Monday night’s District 202 Board of Education, Superintendent Steve Wilder presented the school board members with some good news regarding the district’s tax levy.
