105.3 KFM along with Nissan of Galesburg, Tompkins State Bank, Cooks & Company, and Lacky Monuments are teaming up to honor outstanding teachers who has made an impact in and out of the classroom. We’re interested in teachers whose passion for teaching goes above and beyond just teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. Whether it’s a unique way of teaching or taking that extra time to help a student learn, we want to know about it. Each month throughout the school year, we’ll recognize a teacher with the Big Red Apple Award.
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED? Any K-12 teacher employed in school districts in Knox or Warren counties.
WHO CAN NOMINATE? Any student (under 13 with the help of a parent or guardian), parent or individual who has contact with a teacher and has seen first hand the impact the teacher has made.
