The Center for Youth and Family Solutions – CYFS Volleyball Classic

$15The Center for Youth and Family Solutions is currently looking for teams interested in participating in its CYFS Volleyball Classic. The bracket-style tournament is being held on Saturday, April 16th at 1:00 p.m. at the YMCA in Monmouth Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the emergency needs fund for kids and families served by the non-profit’s Galesburg office.
Registration is $15 a person (six players per team-minimum). The first place team of the tournament will take home a cash prize. Interested participants should call our Galesburg office at 309-342-1136.
Organizers of the tournament are looking forward to bringing the community together for a family-friendly event that will benefit a very worthy case. “The CYFS Volleyball Classic is going to be a casual event where participants can come and have fun doing something that so many of us loved as kids, while support those in need in the area,” said Erika Parks CYFS Youth, Family and Community Outreach Supervisor.
The Center for Youth and Family Solutions is a not-for-profit social services agency that works with those who have been impacted by trauma, grief and loss, abuse and neglect, and other significant family life challenges. The organization provides foster care and adoption services; behavioral health counseling; crisis pregnancy counseling; intact family intervention; residential services for youth; senior services; and youth, family, and community outreach services.
