Lindsay Currie Book Launch at Galesburg Public Library

On October 10th at 6:00 PM, Galesburg Public Library will be throwing a book launch party to celebrate the release of The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street, the brand new middle-grade novel by Galesburg native Lindsay Currie. Come enjoy snacks and activities, enter a prize drawing for a basket of Peculiar Incident-related goodies, and watch a special video message from Lindsay herself.

Set in Chicago, The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street tells the story of a girl who unravels a centuries-old mystery after moving into a haunted house. While the book is aimed at a 3rd-6th grade audience, readers of all ages are invited to attend the book launch party.

Copies of The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street can be pre-ordered in the Galesburg Public Library Children’s Room. All pre-ordered, pre-paid books can be picked up at the event and will be guaranteed a signed bookplate from Lindsay. Limited copies will also be available for sale the day of the event. Book purchase is not required to attend the event.
