Knox Galesburg Symphony Performance

Come enjoy beautiful music at the Knox-Galesburg Symphony’s second concert of the season! The Knox-Galesburg Symphony is thrilled to welcome back Masha Lakisova, violin, for a third time. 15-year-old Lakisova will perform Glazunov’s exquisite Violin Concerto in A minor. The concert, sponsored in part by G&M Distributors, Inc., with generous support from William Munson, is November 12, 7:30PM, at the Orpheum Theatre. Maestro Bruce Polay leads the Symphony in performances of Beethoven’s explosive Egmont Overture, Glazunov’s Concerto (featuring Lakisova), the world premiere of his own composition Purple-ish Haze, and Chabrier’s Suite Pastorale. Additionally, as a way to honor and thank our veterans, the Knox-Galesburg Symphony is excited to offer FREE admission to this concert for all veterans!
