Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

$15“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” opens Friday, November 9 at Prairie Players Civic Theatre! The production will run through November 18 with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.
Based on the biblical story of Joseph and his famous coat, this exuberant musical tells the story of a favored son who is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, rises to become advisor to the Pharaoh, and reunites with his family in forgiveness.
The production features large cast of adults and children from the community on stage and off. President Heather Norman said, “We wanted to do something this season for everyone and with Joseph, we have accomplished just that!”
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice created the score for the musical, which was first performed in 1968, opening on Broadway in 1982. Since, the musical has brought smiles to families across the world and become an audience favorite.
