Community Prayer Service

A Community Prayer Service in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer will be presented on May 7, 2026, at 7:30a.m.-8:30a.m. The event is sponsored by the ministers of Elmwood and hosted by the First Presbyterian Church of Elmwood. Breakfast will be served at 7:30a.m. with a program immediately following. The speaker is Trenton Parrish, an Elmwood graduate who currently serves as Chaplain at Carle Hospital in Peoria. A solo will be sung by another Elmwood graduate and resident, Julie Seeley, and a short presentation will be given by local students of FCA( Fellowship of Christian Athletes)!
The program will end with the group singing of “Let There Be Piece On Earth” played by Pat Vaughan another Elmwood graduate and resident.
Everyone is welcome and no reservations are required.
