9:00 am: Daily pilot briefing, Stearman Fly-In seminar tent, Galesburg Municipal Airport
9:30 am: Seminar, “Ageless Aviation Dreams,” presented by Darryl Fisher, Carson City, NV. Fly-In seminar tent, Galesburg Municipal Airport.
Mid-morning: Lunch-time fly-out to Gen-Air Park, Geneseo, IL. Food charge.
3:30 pm: Seminar, “Stearman Insurance Explained,” presented by Richard “Dick” Packer, Radnor, Ohio. Fly-In seminar tent, Galesburg Municipal Airport.
5:30 pm: Beverage wagon opens, Jet Air Hangar, Galesburg Municipal Airport.
6:30 – 7:30 pm: Pizza party, Jet Air hangar, Galesburg Municipal Airport. Catered by Pizza Hut, Galesburg. Free for Fly-In participants. Sponsored by the Stearman Restorers Association. Charge for beverages.
7:30 pm: Gone West! A remembrance of members of the Stearman community who have passed on during the past year. Jet Air hanag.
7:35 pm: Movie night featuring “The Aviatrix,’ documentary of Stearman pilot Tracey Curtis-Taylor’s 8 ½-week, 10,000-mile flight from Cape Town, South Africa, to Goodwood, Great Britain. Jet Air Hangar. Open to the public.
Activities continuing throughout the day:
Narrated tram rides along Stearman flight line (weather permitting) – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm – $1 per person
Poker run, fun flying, buddy hops, hangar flying
