Bix Birthday Bash

You don’t have to wait ‘til August for your Bix Fix. The annual Bix Birthday Bash fundraiser will be held on Sat., March 10th at the Rhythm City Casino’s Rhythm Room. Free dance lessons begin at 6:30 and two bands will play from 7 – 9.

The Dandelion Stompers from Iowa City promise you New Orleans jazz, a great rhythm section, plenty of horns and a mixture of hot and spicy vocals. Former players from the St. Ambrose Concert band formed the Locust Street Boys 28 years ago and they’ll be swinging hot jazz and standards beginning at 8.

The cost is $15; must be 21 to enter the casino.
