Earth Day 5K Fun Run & Walk

The first annual Earth Day 5K Fun Run and Walk, hosted by the Knox College Student Senate. Over the past few years, the city of Galesburg has spent thousands of dollars to remove trees due to the emerald ash borer infestation. A group called Trees4Galesburg was created with the mission of expanding the tree canopy of our city. This Earth Day we are hoping to welcome the Galesburg community to celebrate each other’s company and appreciate our natural surroundings in a fun race through our city. All proceeds from this event will go to this group. Hope to see you all there!
