105.3 KFM along with Nissan of Galesburg congratulate March’s KFM Teacher of the Month — Stefanie Cross — a 2nd grade teacher at Costa Catholic Academy. Stefanie was nominated by Matthew Alvarado who’s daughter Marcella is a student in Stefanie’s class. As KFM’s teacher of the Month, Stefanie receives the Big Red Apple Award with her name engraved on it from Lacky Monuments along with a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank and a bouquet from Cooks-N-Company. Here’s what Matthew had to say about Stefanie:
Ms. Cross is more than a teacher—she’s a true source of support, encouragement, and inspiration for her students. She takes the time to understand each child, helping them grow not only academically but personally. Her patience, kindness, and dedication create a classroom where students feel safe, valued, and confident. She goes above and beyond to make sure no student is left behind, always offering extra help and encouragement when it’s needed most. You can see that teaching isn’t just her job—it’s her passion. The impact she makes reaches far beyond the classroom, shaping confidence and a love for learning that lasts. Ms. Cross truly deserves Teacher of the Month for the difference she makes every single day.
Congratulations Stefanie Cross, May’s KFM Teacher of the Month, from Nissan of Galesburg, Tompkins State Bank, Cooks-n-Company, Lacky Monuments and 105.3 KFM
