One person is in custody at the Warren County Jail while two people were treated for pellet gun wounds in an incident that happened Wednesday.
According to a release from the Monmouth Police Department, officers responded to 615 South 10th Street for a report of gunshot related wounds.
Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and found two people with pellet gun wounds to their bodies. They were taken for medical treatment via Galesburg Hospitals Ambulance Service and the Monmouth Fire Department.
Little details were given but Monmouth Police say that the incident remains under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
