Meet March 2026 Teacher of the Month

105.3 KFM along with Nissan of Galesburg congratulate March’s KFM Teacher of the MonthCHRISTINE TAPPER  — a Kindergarten teacher at King Elementary School in Galesburg. Christine was nominated by Mason Peters. As KFM’s teacher of the Month, Christine receives the Big Red Apple Award with her name engraved on it from Lacky Monuments along with a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank and a bouquet from Cooks-N-Company. Here’s what Mason had to say about Christine:

Because of her, he now knows how to read, something we are incredibly proud of. She made learning exciting and approachable, building his confidence step by step. But what stands out even more is the personal growth we’ve seen. He has come out of his shell socially and is no longer afraid to participate or express himself. She has also helped him learn how to process and talk through his emotions in a healthy way, skills that go far beyond academics. She creates a classroom environment where kids feel safe, encouraged, and understood. The impact she’s had on my son in just six months is something our family will always be grateful for. She absolutely deserves to be recognized as Teacher of the Month.

Congratulations Christine Tapper,  March’s KFM Teacher of the Month, from Nissan of Galesburg, Tompkins State Bank, Cooks-n-Company, Lacky Monuments and 105.3 KFM
