105.3 KFM along with Nissan of Galesburg congratulate December’s KFM Teacher of the Month — Krista Tran — a 1st grade teacher at Galesburg Christian School. Trista was nominated by Morgan Oler, who’s son is a student in her class. As KFM’s teacher of the Month, Krista receives the Big Red Apple Award with her name engraved on it from Lacky Monuments along with a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank and a bouquet from Cooks-N-Company. Here’s what Morgan had to say about Krista:
“Mrs. Tran is a wonderful Christ centered individual. This spills over into her teaching and classroom. This is the first year my son switched from 205 school district to GCS and he has made huge strides, not only in his academic work, but his faith and behavior. She is available at all hours of the day and evening if parents have questions or concerns. She meets the children where they are spiritually and academically. She deserves the recognition, and I hope you guys put into consideration how she is leading young people to the Lord.”
