Meet November 2025 Teacher of the Month

105.3 KFM along with Nissan of Galesburg congratulate November’s KFM Teacher of the MonthHayley Knuth  — a 1st grade teacher at Costa Catholic Academy.  Hayley was nominated by Karissa Gilmore, who’s son is a student in her class.  As KFM’s teacher of the Month, Hayley receives the Big Red Apple Award with her name engraved on it from Lacky Monuments along with a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank and a bouquet from Cooks-N-Company. Here’s what Karissa had to say about Hayley:

Briefly, tell us about your teacher. Give specific examples of what your teacher does to earn him/her an A+?
We have a 1st grader who has some learning challenges, so he has struggled to enjoy school. Mrs. Knuth has gone above and beyond in getting Asher excited about school, and it’s only the first quarter! She has tailored some of her lessons to better help him. She has taken the time to meet with us one on one to discuss what and how to help our son. She has also given us extra learning tools at home, so that we can ensure he’s getting all the extra help he needs. As parents, we definitely need and appreciate the guidance. Asher’s confidence has grown so much already. In addition to Mrs. Knuth being a great teacher, she also has a very sweet, loving spirit. Her students all adore her. Please consider Mrs. Knuth for Teacher of the Month. She is such a blessing to the growth of our littles inside and outside of the classroom.

Congratulations Hayley Knuth, November’s KFM Teacher of the Month, from Nissan of Galesburg, Tompkins State Bank, Cooks-n-Company, Lacky Monuments and 105.3 KFM
