Letter carrier Fernando Garcia was on his daily route in Norwalk, California, when he sprang into action to save a man who had severely cut his arm with a chainsaw. The U.S. Postal Service worker heard screams for help and turned around to see a man covered in blood holding his arm. Garcia sprang into action, using his belt as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. He wrapped it around the man’s arm as tightly as he could and held it. The injured man was taken to the hospital and his family reports that he’s starting to regain movement in his hand.
