Two Galesburg firefighters received minor injuries in a Friday morning fire and explosion at Innovative Production USA.

In the early morning hours Thursday, July 23rd, Galesburg Police Officers were investigating a possible meth lab odor near the area of Grand Avenue and Locust Streets.

Galesburg man arrested for battery after intentionally coughing on food delivery driver

Earlier this week on Sunday, July 19th, a delivery driver for Jimmy John’s called in a complaint to Galesburg Police of a customer who “intentionally coughed on her while she was delivering his food to him”.

Galesburg woman arrested for theft at Walmart

Thursday, July 23rd, Galesburg Police were dispatched to Walmart in Galesburg for a possible retail theft.
