Production on the upcoming season of The Amazing Race has been postponed because of the coronavirus. CBS says it made the move “out of an abundance of caution.” A spokesperson tells Variety, “All contestants and production staff are in the process of returning home. At this time, no Racers or anyone on the production team travelling with them have contracted the virus, or shown symptoms, and we are not aware of anyone being exposed to it.” According to a source, three episodes had already been filmed, with the contestants having visited England and Scotland.
