Drugs were seized and three were arrested after the execution of a search warrant on New Year’s Day by Galesburg Police.
According to a release from GPD, an ongoing drug investigation led officers to obtain a search warrant for an apartment located at 224 North Broad Street.
The execution of the warrant led to the discovery of 40 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a pistol, and ammunition.
56-year-old Jacqueline J. Gutierrez was arrested for meth possession over 15 grams, possession/delivery of meth, and felon in possession of a firearm.
44-year-old Julius D. Rogers shares those same charges and has an additional armed violence charge against him.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Heaven Sundberg was arrested for a misdemeanor Knox County warrant.
