Join the Knox County YMCA by donating a package of children’s socks and underwear now through Sunday, December 9th.The YMCA will waive your join fee when you donate. All items will be donated to the Galesburg Salvation Army. Current members can donate and be entered into a drawing to win a free month. This will be honored at the Downtown Galesburg, Knoxville, and Knox County YMCA locations during staffed hours.
There are also a trio of Community Blood Drives in the area this week. Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center will be at the Lake Bracken Country Club Monday, December 3rd from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Tuesday, December 4th in Monmouth MVRBC will be at the Americinn from 2:30 pm to 5:15 pm. Wednesday the Abingdon Banking Center will host Mississippi Valley for a drive from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
