RN is most common education major in Illinois

Rich Miller at CapitalFax.com points to some interesting data about Illinois that perhaps you didn’t know. Like, the most common higher education degree is earned by Registered Nurses. Way to go, nurses, and thanks for listening. DataUSA published the numbers. Median age in our state is 37.4 years, meaning half older, half younger.

Illinois has a relatively high number of people who were born in Lithuania, and a relatively high number of people who speak the Polish language.

Among veterans, there are more Vietnam veterans than those who served in any other conflict.

Median household income in Illinois is $57,444.  All figures and data are from 2014. I’ve spent way too much time on this already!
