Beta Sigma Phi Galva Craft Show Saturday, October 19th

The largest craft show in the area returns Saturday, October 19th for its 41st year. The Beta Sigma Phi Craft Show is today at the Galva High School featuring over 100 new and returning vendors. Mary Kay North is a Beta Sigma Phi member and an organizer of the event. “The high school’s full in the gym and the hallway and we’re also going to have over 40 booths outside on the north side of the high school,” North said. “It gives you a true fall festival-type atmosphere. Outdoors we’ll also have mums and pumpkins and kettle corn. It really makes (for) that fall festival feeling.” There are two chapters of Beta Sigma Phi in Galva. It’s a cultural and civic group empowering women. Proceeds from today’s show go towards needs in Galva. If there is a need in Galva – Beta Sigma Phi supports it: from raising funds for the senior citizen center, putting on programs at the high school, to funds for the cemetery, Lions Club, and food pantry. The craft show runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm – entry is $2.
