Tara Reid took Sharknado producers to court last week. She claimed they profited from her image “without her consent.” According to Tara Reid, she is owed $100 million!
Sharknado was not only a campy franchise on the Syfy network. Sharknado expanded licensing rights to slot machines and beers using Tara Reid’s image. Her contract reportedly stated Sharknado producers could not use her image for “merchandising in association with alcohol, tobacco, gambling, hygiene, or sexual products.”
