Pinewood Derby-Scout Race & Family Race & Leader Race

This event is hosted by Girl Scouts in Knox County, but is open to any Girl, Cub or Boy Scout and their families.
Cost is $1 to race. Your car kit must be official and costs about $4 online or from a Boy Scout shop. Call 337-9020. Registration is appreciated by March 1, but will be accepted at the door.

Sandburg Days Fun Hike for Kindergarten – adults

Carl Sandburg Historic Site
Notes: Choose a 3 or 5 mile historic hike after events at the Sandburg Historic Site. Hike includes lunch at Galesburg’s oldest restaurant, Coney Island! Follow clues to hike and learn about Carl Sandburg, Galesburg’s history and President Lincoln. Cost $12 per girl, $5 per adult. Registration due by March 31 or lunch and snacks on your own if you register that day. Hosted by Girl Scouts in Knox County, but open to the public.
Plant the Girl Scout Flower Garden (all ages)

Mulberry next to the train depot parking lot. FREE! Girl Scouts should register by April 30th with their leader.
Girl Scout Camp Snoopy Day Camp (K-12) Early Bird Registration Due May 1
Camp Snoopy will be held June 6-10 at Blackthorn Hill Nature Preserve from 9-3 daily. Cost is $50 if registered by May 1st. $60 if registered between May 2 and 23. Price includes t-shirt, patch, food and activities
Activities: swimming at Lakeside one day, New Girl Scout Outdoor badges, cooking and eating outdoors, hiking, songs, games, crafts, archery, Snoopy books or movies. Family night one evening.
