Farce of Nature Auditions
March 1 @ 2:30 pm

Are you ready for some laughter and fun? Charlie Chaplin once said, “a day without laughter is a day wasted,” and we have just the thing to make your day. Prairie Players announces auditions for the hilarious comedy, Farce of Nature, written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.
This frantic, Southern-fried comedy directed by Mary Ellen Millem is about the struggling Wilburn family at their Arkansas fishing lodge, the Reel ‘Em Inn. The plot follows D. Gene Wilburn trying to save his business while managing a wife who seeks romance, a gun-happy sister hiding a mob snitch, and chaotic, unexpected guests.
Auditions, which will include cold readings from the script, are Sunday, March 1, at 2:30 P.M. and Monday, March 2, at 6:30 P.M. at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg. Callbacks are Wednesday, March 3, at 6:30 P.M. While audition forms will be available on March 1 and 2, we recommend completing the online form at prairieplayers.com ahead of time. This helps ensure you have time to share complete information and will make for a more relaxed audition experience.
