Auditions for Church Basement Ladies

Auditions for the Prairie Players Civic Theatre spring production of Church Basement Ladies will be held on January 8 at 2 p.m. and January 10 at 6 p.m.
Church Basement Ladies is a musical comedy that features four down-to-earth women in 1960s rural Minnesota as they handle potential disasters and change in the church while sharing and debating recipes and keeping the pastor on course.
The cast calls for four women between the ages of 18 and 70 and one man between the age of 40 and 60.
Those auditioning will be expected to do a cold reading from the script, present a short (24 bar) solo, and sing in small groups. Callbacks, if needed will be January 12 at 6 p.m. Auditions will be at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 South Seminary Street, Galesburg.
Production dates are March 31 – April 2 & April 7 – 9 at Prairie Players Civic Theatre.
