Rock Steady Boxing Open House

Galesburg Youth Athletic Club is sponsoring an open house for Rock Steady Boxing.
The mission of Rock Steady Boxing is to empower people with Parkinson’s Disease to fight back. Parkinson’s Disease is a degenerative movement disorder which can cause deterioration of motor skills, balance, speech, and sensory function.
Rock Steady Boxing, a 501(c)3, gives people with Parkinson’s Disease hope by improving their quality of live through a non-contact boxing fitness curriculum with certified instructors Carlos Duncan and Kelvin “Woody” Medley.
The open house will feature door prizes, refreshments, and a live auction beginning at 12pm.
