Auditions for First Look Play Festival

Help us bring new plays to life with the First Look Play Festival. Over the month of February, Prairie Players Civic Theatre will stage six scripts by local playwrights as dramatic readings, culminating in the tech-supported production of Sherwood Kiraly’s full-length comedy Hug It Out.
Auditions will be on Wednesday and Thursday, January 4 and 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. Roles are available for actors of any age, gender, and experience level. Auditions will be at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 South Seminary Street, Galesburg. The audition will consist of cold readings from the various scripts.
Those interested who cannot make the scheduled auditions should contact festival producer Niki Acton at neacton@knox.edu to schedule an audition time prior to January 8.
Production dates are February 3 & 4, February 10 & 11, and February 16-18 at Prairie Players Civic Theatre. Actors only need to be available for one set of dates to audition.
