CHANGED: Altona Homecoming

The fireworks have been postponed until a date to be determined. All other events are going on as scheduled.
A full day of events is scheduled in The Village of Altona, this Saturday June, 26th, 2021.
12 noon – 3 pm; The Altona Lions Club will be serving a pork chop dinner at Johnson-Pyle Park (located behind the gas station).
12 noon – 3 pm; The Altona Lions Club will be having a Show’n’Shine car, truck, tractor & motorcycle show. Its free and just for fun, just show up with your ride.
2 pm – 5 pm; The Altona Historical Society will be having an ice cream social at the Ransom Memorial Public Library. They will be giving tours of the renovations made so far of the library’s second floor. All total donations received from June 1st – July 4th will be matched up to $20,000 by anonymous donors.
Starting at 5 pm at the ball diamond, the Altona Firemen will be serving pork burgers, pork chops and hot dogs. 6 pm starts the community softball game.
Fireworks start at dusk at the ball diamond.
