A convenience store clerk in Alabama cut right to the chase when confronted by two knife-toting thieves — by pulling out a machete and chasing them.
Seth Holcomb made a couple of false starts, walking from his car to the door of the Conoco at least twice before going inside and pulling his weapon to demand cash from the register. He got an unexpected response when the clerk on duty hit the automatic lock and brought out his own, much bigger blade to confront the unsteady crook.
The worker followed Holcomb outside and ended up fighting with his girlfriend Laney Nicholson, who had her own knife. The victim damaged the suspects’ car, giving cops enough time to catch up with them on a nearby highway. (WHNT)
