Police bust Marietta woman on meth charges

Authorities arrested a Marietta woman Wednesday afternoon following a meth investigation led by the West Central Illinois Task Force of Macomb.

The task force says 44-year-old Michelle L. Stufflebeam allowed investigators to search her home where “numerous items” common in meth production were seized along with a quantity of finished meth.

Officers arrested Stufflebeam on charges of unlawful participation in meth manufacturing, possession of meth manufacturing materials, unlawful procurement of meth precursors and possession of less than five grams of meth.

Stufflebeam was transported to Graham Hospital in Canton by Fulton County EMA after she complained of difficulty breathing. Medical personnel cleared her and the suspect was taken to the Fulton County jail where she remains in lieu of $100,000.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department assisted the task force and Fulton County EMA during the incident.
