Monmouth man arrested for Criminal Damage to property in Galesburg

Around 2:30 in the morning on Sunday, October 4th, Galesburg Police were dispatched to the 100 block of North Ivan for a report of criminal damage to property in progress. GPD received reports of a male subject damaging property and entering a garage on North Ivan. According to police reports, officers arrived at the garage and made contact with 42-year old Joshua Crossen of Monmouth. Inside the garage was a shovel on the floor next to a Cadillac Escalade with several fresh dents on the hood. Officers also observed numerous flower pots smashed throughout the yard and several license plates on cars in the neighborhood had been bent. Crossen refused to speak to officers about the incident and was arrested for Felony Criminal Damage to Property over $500 and Burglary.
