Here’s what Paislee had to say about Tammira:

What sets this teacher apart from others?
She goes above and beyond to help her students. This is a crucial time with the educational system and even though contact is minimal she still keeps constant contact with the parents. she updates us and informs us of any situations good or bad. My daughter always comes home from school happy and can’t wait to tell us about her day, it always starts out with Mrs. McVeigh.

What is one thing this teacher does that is not in their job description but they do it anyway to help you or your child?
Mrs. McVeigh rewards us for good behavior and if we are really good, we get to be the super hero of the day. She helped me pull my tooth and she also helps me straighten my mask when it gets tangled. She is very funny and makes us laugh a lot. Mrs. McVeigh teaches us about God and lets us have recess. I really like her a lot.

Give an example of a way this teacher has helped or impacted you or your child.
You know that your child loves their teacher when its Friday night and they ask if the have school tomorrow and you tell them no and they get bummed out, then Saturday rolls around and they are telling you the miss their teacher and how great she is.

Congratulations Tammira McVeigh, October’s KFM Teacher of the Month from Galesburg Nissan, Tompkins State Bank, Lacky Monuments, Cooks & Company, and 105.3 KFM.
