ROWVA Schools’ Superintendent says there’s another case of a person in-district testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
As a result, ROWVA schools will do remote learning this Monday but then go back to face-to-face classes the following day.
Superintendent Joe Sornberger says that will allow enough time to contact-trace and deep clean buildings before students return.
Classes were canceled Friday, as well as all after school activities.
Sornberger says there was also a case reported in the district last Friday, but this new one is not linked.
Sornberger wrote in a message to parents and stakeholders that the Knox County Health Department informed the district about the positive test.
