Galesburg City Hall will remain closed to the public through at least the month of May.
City Manager Todd Thompson told Aldermen on Monday that the building would remain closed to public traffic as long as the Governor’s shelter-in-place order was still in effect.
City employees will continue to be available via phone or email.
The lobby of the Galesburg Public Safety Building will remain open with limited hours for emergency purposes, but public access is limited to situations which cannot be addressed via phone or email.
