Most local counties add COVID cases on Illinois’ biggest one-day increase

Several local counties are reporting new cases of COVID-19 Friday, as the Illinois Department of Public Health announced the largest one-day increase in new cases yet, 2,724.

That brings the state a total of 39,658 confirmed cases. There were also 107 newly announced deaths, for a statewide total of 1,688.

Warren County Health Officials are announcing 6 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday, bring the county total to 38.

New cases include

• 2 females between the ages of 20-40
• 1 female between the ages of 40-60
• 1 male between the ages of 20-40
• 3 males between the ages of 40-60

Health officials in Warren say to date there have been 56 tests taken that have been negative.

Fulton County officials Friday announced their second confirmed case although, they said that their first COVID-19 patient recovered only about five days are his positive test was reported.
