Knox County confirms 10th and 11th case of COVID-19, one Hill Correctional inmate

Knox County confirmed it’s 10th and 11th case of COVID-19 Monday according to the Knox County Unified Command.

The Knox County Unified Command, which declined to comment on the 9th case when it was reported Sunday, said Monday that the 9th case is a male in his 50’s.

They say the tenth case is a female in her 50’s, and an 11th case is a female in her 50’s.

The male in his 50’s is believed to be an inmate at Henry C. Hill Correctional Center.

The Illinois Department of Corrections lists 4 cases of inmates at Hill being confirmed to have the coronavirus.
