Fulton County health officials say the one confirmed case of COVID-19 reported in their community has recovered.
Recovery is defined as resolution of fever without fever-reducing medication for 72 hours, improvement of symptoms and at least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
Health officials cited HIPPA laws and never released a name, age or gender of the patient.
A spokesperson with Graham Health System said when the case was announced last Friday that the patient was in-home quarantine recovering nicely.
The Fulton County Health Department says that 39 tests in the county have come back negative and 6 are still pending.
