OSF furloughing most non-patient-facing staff

OSF Healthcare says most non-patient-facing staff members will be subject to mandatory paid time off or in some cases unpaid leaves of absence to focus resources on fighting COVID-19.

OSF also says today that their top executives are taking pay cuts between 5 and 10 percent.

Employees who are being furloughed will retain seniority and health benefits during their time off.

OSF in a news release says that they’ve seen a decrease volume of patients over the past several weeks, including for inpatient services, surgeries and at their clinics.
