Levitt AMP Concert Series announces summer lineup

Galva’s Levitt AMP Concert series is already gearing up for its third year. The 2020 lineup was announced earlier today featuring a collection of folk, country, rock, blues and more. Held at Wiley Park in Galva, the Sunday concerts are an opportunity for community members of all ages to enjoy free live music in a picnic-style setting. The past two years have featured 10 weeks of concerts – in 2020 two additional concerts have been added for a total of 12 weeks of free live music. These concerts activate an under-used public space and turn it into a vibrant meeting place. Shows kick-off on Sunday, May 31st with Minnesota-based midwest folk group Good Morning Bedlam and Iowa-based surf rock instrumental band Surf Zombies. The series returns the following Sunday on June 7th with Chicago blues band Mississippi Heat and Kansas City blues artist Heather Newman. Admission to the concerts is free and attendees are encouraged to invite friends, family, and neighbors for an opportunity to meet new friends and celebrate the summer season.
