Shake off the post Holiday blues with events this weekend

Unwind from the holidays with several live musical acts in Galesburg this weekend. The Lubricats will take over Fat Fish Pub Friday, December 27th beginning at 8:00 pm. The Lubricats will bring you to your feet with a party of rock dance music influenced by Motown, R & B, & Soul. Covering music ranging from Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon, Steely Dan, and James Brown.

The Knox County Brewing Company presents LIVE with Frank F. Sidney’s Western Bandit Volunteers Saturday, December 28th. The show starts at 6:00pm. Frank F. Sidney’s Western Bandit Volunteers is a local bluegrass outlaw country band – playing for the first time at Knox County Brewing Company.

Head to The Corral Saturday, December 28th for LP33 featuring new drummer Kris Wingo. LP33 is a premiere, classic rock cover band based out of Galesburg that will take the Corall stage at 9:00 pm Saturday, December 28th.

Also Saturday, December 28th, you can catch DJ ATP presents Bass Room at Iron Spike Brewing Company. Admission is free and will begin at 9:00 pm.

There’s bingo Saturday, December 28th at the Galesburg VFW. Doors open at 10:00 am with lunch available from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm with bingo beginning at 12:45 pm.

Join in and support the Knoxville FFA with a Trivia Night Saturday, December 28th at Big Catz in Knoxville. Registration begins at 6:30 pm with trivia beginning at 7:00 pm. Test your wits with a variety of trivia plus a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. The cost is $100 per 8-10 person team with proceeds to benefit the Knoxville FFA Chapter.

Legacy Estates of Monmouth is hosting a New Year’s Open House Celebration. Ring in the New Year with Legacy Estates from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 29th. There will be a Holiday Bites, Bubble and Giveaway.
