The Knox County Board has accepted the resignation of District 1 board member, Patrick Harlan.
Very little was said during the Tuesday meeting regarding the resignation.
Harlan had been elected in November of 2018, along with Cheryl Nache. He replaced longtime board member, Richard Conklin.
Knox County Clerk Scott Erickson said that the county’s Republican Party will present a nominee to fill the vacancy for the board to approve as early as the Monday, December 30, meeting.
