More shows and family fun in Woodhull this weekend

Sugar High Theatricals presents “Dreams” July 20th and 21st.  It’s theatre for kids, by kids. The third production “Dreams: Theatre by Kids for Kids” at is Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st at noon. The show is a collection of music, poetry, scenes, and Shakespeare with a cast that ranges in ages from 8 to 19 says Director Melanie Delbridge. “Dreams is a music review like a lot of the shows that I write,” said Delbridge. “This one also gives (the kids) a chance to act in it as well. It’s a collection of different poems….selections from different plays where kids will do scenes or monologues from plays….and then in-between each of those there is a musical number.” Performances will take place outside at 2341 West Fremont Street. The yard opens at 11:30 a.m with performances beginning at 12:00 p.m. The suggested donation amount is $10 per person or $5 for seniors and free for 12 and under.
