ROWVA junior high goes on soft-lockdown for Snapchat threat

ROWVA Superintendent Joe Sornberger says the junior high building was on a soft lockdown Thursday, while they investigated a threat viewed on Snapchat.

Sornberger says students and faculty are able to move around the building, largely as they normally would, but no one was allowed to enter or exit the building during that time.

In a Facebook post, the school district said that the investigation yielded no evidence to suggest the threat was credible.

The district dismissed classes at the regular time and all evening activities went as planned.
