The Annual Galesburg Christian School Dinner and Auction is Friday, March 29th at Cedar Creek Hall in Galesburg. The annual event benefits the school and helps their general fund and operating costs. Silent auction items are divided into tables – and will end throughout the night. Auction items include a variety of baskets from overnight bed and breakfast stays, travel baskets, and sports baskets – which include Cardinals tickets and more. Other auction items include a signed basketball from the GCS boys basketball team after winning the NICC tournament, a signed batting glove by the Cubs’ Ben Zobrist, a fire pit, and furniture to name a few more. The evening also includes games, a raffle and Henn House BBQ. Tickets are $30 in advance by calling 343-8008. Doors open at 5:00 pm at Cedar Creek Hall.
Held at the Abingdon American Legion, Music Trivia hosted by Tompkins State Bank will benefit Relay for Life on Friday, March 29th. The evening includes a 50/50, silent auction and bake sale.
Held from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the cost is $120 per team if you haven’t signed up yet with 10 people per team.
If you still hadn’t broken a mental sweat – the only thing better than trivia is Taco Trivia. The 2nd Annual Taco Trivia with the East Galesburg Fire Department is Saturday, March 30th at the Knoxville American Legion. All-you-can-eat tacos are served at 5:00 pm for a free will donation with trivia beginning at 7:00 pm. Trivia is $10 per person with 10 person teams. The night also includes a silent auction, 50/50 and prizes for 1st through 3rd place. To register, call 368-4062.
Saturday, March 30th is also the Annual Steak Supper at the Williamsfield United Methodist Church. Serving from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, the cost is $14 and $6 for kids. For tickets call 297-0661.
