Officers were responding to Moon Towers, where Little had been banned according to what an employee of the Knox County Housing Authority, which oversees the facility, told police.

He answered the door of an apartment by wielding knives in both hands and saying ” suicide by cop.”

A struggle ensued after Little attempted to shut the door and officers tried to pry it open.
