A van and box trailer were reported stolen Monday morning from a Galesburg business.
Officers were dispatched to Glass Specialty in the 700-block of East Main Street for the reported motor vehicle theft.
According to a police report, workers told police that the keys to the van were inside the vehicle.
Surveillance video from the area was reviewed and found that a subject was trying to get into vehicles before successfully finding that one unlocked shortly after 5:30 Monday morning.
Both the trailer and van would be recovered later in the day. The report noted that the trailer was found by a UPS worker on Blaze road.
The report did not detail where the van was found, but a Facebook post from Glass Specialty stated it had been recovered.
