A fight broke out at an Emmy Awards party. Tom Arnold tweeted late Sunday night (quote) “Mark Burnett just went apesh** and choked me at this huge Emmy party. Then he ran away with his torn pink shirt & missing gold chain. I’m waiting for LAPD.”
Burnett and Arnold have feuded for months about behind-the-scenes recordings of The Apprentice. Tom Arnold claimed that Burnett purposefully withheld tapes of Apprentice host Donald Trump saying nasty things about women and persons of color. Some in Hollywood blame Burnett for propelling Donald Trump onto the national stage and ultimately the Presidency.
Mark Burnett’s wife, Roma Downey, tweeted a photo of her badly bruised hand (quote) “Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
