The Miss Knox County Fair Queen Pageant returns to the Orpheum Theatre Sunday. Orpheum Theatre Executive Director Kevin Maynard said, “Get your tickets now – you’ll save some time at the door. It’s a yearly staple. They’re doing some things different this year – it’s under new management – so it’ll be an all new pageant. We’re excited and interested to see how everything is going to play out. It’s always good. It’s the only county fair queen pageant in the state of Illinois that is both inside and air-conditioned- right in our space.” The pageant begins Sunday at 5:30 pm.
