The annual Awards Dinner for the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce is coming up Thursday night.

The chamber-members-only dinner will be held at the Lake Storey Pavilion at 6:00pm.

The dinner will recognize area businesses and advocates with three award categories: the Innovation Award, the Small Business Award, and the Chamber Advocate Award.

The innovative award honors and organization that has produced a substantial and meaningful innovation, service, product, or approach.

Nominees for the innovate award are Dave’s Auto Body, Derby Industries, First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust, Galesburg Community Foundation, Holiday Inn Express, Lux Blox, Pegasus, Pilot Knob Comforts, Seminary Village, and Thrushwood Farms.

The small business award nominees are those who have had outstanding business performance with strong growth, innovation, and leadership. Small business nominees include Art Defined, Buenos Aires Bakery Cafe, CL Anderson & Associates, PC, Galesburg Sign & Lighting, Farmers Insurance-Gina Martin Agency, Midwest Uniform Supply Inc, Q’s Cafe, and Baked.

The Chamber Advocate award annually recognizes an outstanding member who promotes growth with the Chamber.
